On 22nd , October, 2020, DELTA Group has been honored and received certification in the Announcement Ceremony Top 500 Most Frofitable Companies In Vietnam in 2020 (according to the Profit500 Ranking from Vietnam Report 2020).
Profit500 Ranking – Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam in 2020 is a ranking to honor enterprises, which capable of creating good profits for the development of Vietnam economy. At the same time, this ranking also contributes to introducing Vietnamese business brands to the domestic and international business community.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa – Head of PR & Communication Department on behalf of DELTA Group received the certification at the Announcement Ceremony Top 500 Most Profitable Companies In Vietnam in 2020 (according to the Profit500 Ranking from Vietnam Report in 2020).
In the framework of announcing Profit500 Ranking, Vietnam Report also conducted a study to survey enterprises with good business performance in order to find out the current business situation of enterprises, fluctuations affecting growth profits of the business, the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the business and production activities of the enterprise and the orientation in the “new normal” period.
The world operates in a completely different way at the turn of the new millennium. In 2020, the whole mankind faced with the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic. This not only threatens people’s lives but also has negative impacts on the global economy, Vietnam is no exception. Many Vietnam enterprises, even the big ones in the market was also affected by the pandemic’s impact. According to the Vietnam Report’s survey, there were about 60% of enterprises which had had the revenue in the first 6 months of 2020 decreased compared to the same period in 2019, nearly 15% of enterprises had dramatically decreasing revenue. Similarly, the profit situation was not very satisfactory when 54% of enterprises said that their pre-tax profit in the first 6 months of 2020 had been decreased compared to the same period in 2019, especially of these, up to 31% of enterprises had been suffered from a sharp decline in profit, even a serious loss.
Recognizing the difficulties from the pandemic’s impacts as well as the instability of the world economic and political situation, many businesses adjusted their 2020 business plans to be more suitable and closer to reality. This was clearly shown when 77.1% of enterprises responding to the survey that they had completed over 50% of their 2020 revenue plan, of which 36.1% had completed over 80% of the plan. Regarding the level of completion of profits in 2020, 68.9% of enterprises said that they had completed over 50% of the plan, 31.1% of which had completed over 80% of the plan for the whole 2020. The survey above implemented by Vietnam Report in August 2020, so when it had passed more than half of the way to 2020, there were still enterprises maintaining good growth momentum with very positive business results.
According to the Vietnam Profit500 Ranking in 2020, DELTA Group was still ranked at the 314th position in the Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam in 2020.
